Epilogue

been back a few weeks now, home sweet home - Uptown Aucklandlast week my good friend Lady Sheeq had a get-together at her place in south Aucks... bunch of the TMD's were there. DYLE, ME, ASKEW, PHAT1 n DSKYES pulling our Can2 tough guy faces LOL!!!in front of Phat1's (in action) piece with Sheeq, my homeboy DJ Penfold and more:me n Penfold had a big belated welcome home party on Saturday but i forgot to take photos... anyway, you get the idea about how life is back here.
here's part of a commissioned job i did the other day:

anyway, this is my last blog posting til i go another adventure - which should be same time next year if all goes to plan. if u wanna keep up to date on my work check the label website

i just went to the place i was born n raised for four days, marking the end of my whirlwind trip around the planet. Pieces by me n LURQ:
while i was away, my big brother had a son... so i had to go meet him! me n my nephew Askr:
I also caught up with my old friend LURQ who is in TNA crew with me... he now has his own tattoo shop in CHCH, "Ink Grave". and he gots skills!
cheers bro!!! my man. TNA for life :)

...and now, no more holidaying - for the time being, anyway! I will post up an epilogue of sorts to finish the story after this week has produced some memorable moments :)

Pest5 meets Pest3

i got to paint with local writer PEST3 yesterday... who knew? Prime encouraged me to bring Aotearoa flavour so i created the Pounamu style...
Prime rocked the Ta Moko skull character and Pest3 did the Hawaiian tiki:

its been a great week, sorry for the slack posting! here's some of the action...

what would ma say?

i am in Marseilles... really liking this town.. all the energy, down-to-earthiness and multiculturalism of Paris without being too big... and with the most important bonus, beaches!these are pics of the "old port", which has been cranking since ancient times...
really scenic all round the coast. you know where i been at:
he he yayuh! water not as warm as nice or st tropez doe.
this is the original port... ancient acrcheological ruins. this city was founded by the greeks in 500bc or so, while the french were still living in caves trying to figure out which berries were okay to eat. they discovered these ruins in the 70's when clearing land to build a mall!

anyway... i was going to go to Montpellier to see old Miste and then Toulouse to see old Tilt, but both are out of town! so peace out Frenchies, I'm gonna embark on an epic voyage to find some other old buddies. you'll see where and who soon enough! :)
